Did you know, for example, that Indonesian students have been sent out to the Czech Republic by the first president of the Republic of Indonesia since the year 1954?
However, after the coup of 1965, many students who were against the political current of that time decided to settle in the Czech Republic. These former students, who form a large part of the Indonesian diaspora here, have since been actively promoting the Indonesian culture in the Czech Republic, despite being far away from home. During the dialogue, they related their story to us and urged us to continue contributing positively to our country, no matter where we are. We hope that we can continue to hold up their spirit as the current generation of PPI Ceko!
